How to manage emotions in your training

Focus inward over destructive impulse. What does that mean?

Managing emotions and staying concentrated can be challenging. If you do not pay attention to this you can hurt yourself during your training. You might make the wrong move, overwhelmed by your emotions or get hit in a fight.

I finally learned to pay more attention to my guard and to protect myself during kickboxing. How did I do that?

Manage emotions needs practice. You need to be self-aware and know what you do to make the right moves. This needs also experience and comes with continuous practice. Don’t forget to practice your mental strength and focus inward. Focus is key.

How to focus inward?

  • Disconnect from what you should and must do
  • Take time to look inside you
  • Get clarity about what you want
  • Find your purpose and goal
  • Process your findings.
  • Reset and MOVE
  • Practice regularly. It will come to you. You will notice the progress

I support you with practicing your focus. It is also part of my training. Let’s move together.
